Our Story

A Family Tradition of Keeping Arcanum Sharp

Shupert & Son's The Sharpening Shop has been a quiet cornerstone of the Arcanum community for over three decades. What started as one man's dedication to a well-honed edge grew into a full-service sharpening shop that locals rely on — and recommend to anyone who values a blade that actually cuts.

Hand-sharpened with care — no conveyor belts or automated grinders. Every piece gets personal attention.

Know your tools inside out — from high-carbon steel to ceramic, we match the technique to the blade.

Right here in town — no mailing blades to some distant facility. Drop off and pick up on Sycamore Street.

Fair, straightforward pricing — no surprise fees, no upselling. Just honest work at a fair price.
